Roller and blackout blinds

Dencas Internal Roller Blinds are ideally suited to offices, public buildings and applications where unsupervised personnel are likely to operate the blinds.

Roller Blinds provide designers with reliable, functional and aesthetically pleasing solutions to eliminate glare, reduce solar heat gain and control light.

A wide range of flame retardant fabrics are available including cotton, glass fibre, polyester, opaque for room darkening and open weave PVC Sunscreen which allows significant outward visibility whilst reducing solar heat gain.

Available with cord, bead-chain, gearbox with handle or motorised operation with infra red or radio control, the system can be fitted within a recess or reveal, or be face or surface mounted. Perlon cable and extruded side-guides, pelmets and extruded aluminium headboxes are also available.

The Dencas ‘Zip’ Room Darkening System is established as one of the most effective, reliable and trouble-free solutions for areas where a high degree of light exclusion is required, such as lecture theatres, conference rooms, schools, and operating theatres.

The system is manufactured from extruded aluminium sections with mild steel end caps that can be anodised or powder coated, to co-ordinate with fabrics and surroundings. A wide range of flame retardant, coloured fabrics are available.

Operation is by internal spring, beaded side chain, gear with folding handle, electric motor and switch, infra-red remote control or radio control and can be used in vertical, sloping or horizontal applications. On sloping or horizontal applications or where the fabric is required to draw upwards, the roof-light model is used.

The system’s design allows for easy installation and maintenance.
